Dragon's Hobbies

Independence Day was spent in the hospital. I had an unfortunate health situation where I couldn't get things flowing properly through my system and I had to have surgery a week before. I was recovering well from surgery, moving up through the food ranks that were required for the surgeon to approve me being sent home. I was hopeful that I'd be home to spend July 4th with my family, but my guts just weren't ready to flow in the right direction the night before. My breakfast, lunch, and dinner was going in reverse, last-in-first-out, if you catch my drift. So there I stayed. On top of that, I had to have a new tube pushed down my throat to help retrieve what my stomach hadn't returned to the outside world. Thankfully, that setback just took a few days, and now I'm home, able to sleep in my own bed once again.
