Suggestion to improve the site registration
« on: June 25, 2009, 08:47:04 »
Recently I've been getting more emails from new members saying that they are unable to post anything. Apparently they haven't noticed the messages regarding the Welcome board. Could anyone out there help me determine a better way to handle new member registration/account activation/spammer blocking/etc.?
"Hello IT. Have you tried turning it off and on again? ... OK, well, the button on the side. Is it glowing?... Yeah, you need to turn it on. Err, the button turns it on. Yeah, you do know how a button works, don't you? No, not on clothes." - Roy (The IT Crowd)

Maybe you could put a special thread just for spammers, and ask them to post there...

Problem solved... 8)

Yeah. If they would only keep their posts in a designated area...   :)
