Your gonna have a hard time trying to find a cheap hobby grade Rock Crawler.  If you want something cheap that good for the money your best bet is a Maisto Rock Crawler. You can get em at wal*mart for bout $35.

-at Toys R Us, on-line only, the E-Crawlee, (that is spelled correctly), they even have a video of it,  it appears better than many I've seen.  It's made by Bandai.

HSP 1/8 Radio Controlled Off Road Rock Crawler are pretty cheap dont know what there like tho

That X-Crawlee looks pretty impressive for a store bought toy!

I picked my son up a $30 crawler from target for Christmas (it looked a lot like my Axial AX10). The chassis is nice, but the electronics are pretty lame. It's not digital proportional (a must for a crawler)  and the motor's dont have enough power to actually clime much.
