Sunday game
« on: January 19, 2011, 22:12:37 »
Hello,
My friend in Holiday, FL is interested in hosting a game day at his house this Sunday, Jan. 23.
Times would probably be 1pm to 6pm.
He has plenty of tables and chairs.
I'll be attending.
Is anyone else interested?
Mac

Looks like just me and Tigerfire.
I'll bring Pandemic, it's for 2-4 players.
Arkham Horror can be played by 2-8 players, however, my friend Josh and I tried playing once. It's just too hard to get the 5 clues to close a gate with only two people. Once you get the five clues, there are four gates open. I can bring it along, just to show it off.

I'm feeling under the weather today. I'm not going to make it today.
Sorry, Tigerfire.

Let's reschedule for another Sunday soon. Except Superbowl Sunday, of course.

Sorry that it took so long to get back on here and read the messages. I'd be interested in getting together with you guys in Holiday at some point.

I'm not sure if we are getting together this Sunday, or not.

Is there any interest?

Probably not for me yet. Things have been pretty busy at my place with the remodeling. Need to focus a little more on family time. Hopefully in another week or two it will be more feasible.

I'll check, but how about two weeks after the Superbowl?
2/20/11

Holiday is a nice meeting place in the middle of us.

Darn!  I can't make that day.  Wendy, me and the kids are going to the Florida State Fair together.  And suddenly seeing my kids is a huge priority to me (as I don't see them everyday!!).

I want to get together with you guys soon.  I'd love to have you over to my new place in Palm Harbor.  Let's put our heads together and see if we can make that happen.

Mac...what nights during the week would you be able to come over?  Perhaps Nathaniel and you could chat about what might work...and then I'll make it work.

I'd pretty much have to take a vacation day, unless we make it Monday, Feb 21, a company holiday.
I'm allowed to work from home three days a week, but that would involve me bringing my computer over and checking it every ten minutes or so, and dealing with any problems that may arise.

Hopefully my brother is done with our bathroom renovations by then. He's been staying at our house during renovations, so until he's done it probably won't work out for me to get together with you guys.

So, you guys missing your ol' pal with no family responsibilities preventing him from hanging out and gaming whenever you want yet?  ;D

Sounds like you're having too much fun without me.

Money is still very tight.  I'm behind on rent, but my landlord is being patient.  Forunately, I haven't had anything disconnected yet.

I'm still looking for work, and the freelance art jobs have dried up for the moment.  My car is still dead at the end of my street.

My day is pretty much drilling through job websites and watching anything I can download for free.

So yeah, I'm doing great.  How are things with you? :)
