Ticket to Ride: the Switching Yard Variant
« on: June 14, 2010, 15:07:37 »
Had an idea:

When taking train cards, if none of them look good, instead of taking your FIRST card, you may choose to wipe the 5 face-up cards, and deal 5 replacements.  You can then take ONE face-up card or the top card from the draw stack, but you cannot take a face-up caboose.

I think this might help to speed up games that stall when people are just fishing top cards for the one they want.  What do you guys think?

I like the idea....did you get it from Thurn and Taxis' wipe the board?  I will run it by Wendy, but I think it's great.
