My mom passed away
« on: May 10, 2010, 07:23:59 »
Yesterday evening, on Mother's Day, my mom left this world to be in a better place. She was such a caring person, even during our last visit, just the day before she died. She will be missed.
"Hello IT. Have you tried turning it off and on again? ... OK, well, the button on the side. Is it glowing?... Yeah, you need to turn it on. Err, the button turns it on. Yeah, you do know how a button works, don't you? No, not on clothes." - Roy (The IT Crowd)

I'm sorry for your loss, but I'm happy she is in a better place and is now at peace.

I'm sorry for your loss. I know it has been looming for what probably seemed like a long time.
I hope you can remember her for the good times, and keep her in your heart.

We just got home from the memorial service. The preacher that was there just said some stuff that fit perfect. One thing that he said something along the lines of this: "This is for the family, you know your mom served God, and today, if she hadn't before, she accomplished her mission -- to get you in church." It was very fitting, since I know my mom loved God and will be in heaven.
