shhhhhh dont tell the misses

just had a good deal from argos a 6ft pool table on offer aint told the misses yet about it and the dinner table will have to go out of the dining room  ;D but its not getting delivered till 31 dec so at least we will have christmas dinner on the table heres a link looks pretty good im not expecting it to be pub quality but for the price u cant go wrong

Wow, good luck with that.  :)

I know Wyldwing has a bumper pool/poker table in his kitchen that also doubles as a breakfast table.   Maybe he can give you pointers on how to broach the subject.

Oh yeah, I had forgotten that Wyldwing's table is convertible. That pool table didn't appear to have the same option though. Are you planning to use it as a dinner table also, or is that just the best location in the house for a pool table?

if i can do somthing to it then ye i would maybe be a big sheet of mdf to got over it for when its not in use or somthing the dining room would be the best for that size coz there nothing in there and nothing in the way

Yeah...my bumper pool table has a top that is a regular table on one side and a poker table on the other...it works great because my wife likes poker!!  :)  Good luck with the wife on that one!

well she found out today any way she couldnt moan about it coz it came out of my money from my gigs acount but she did say it was a good deal and be great when family and friends come and visit us but we where oning about getting a fold away 1 for awhile now but i couldnt resist the deal but she still dont know about it going in the dining room tho  ::) thats when she will have a moan lol

the table is great me the misses and friends aint stoped playing it yet theres just enough room in the dining room so that nothing gets in the way the dinner table is gone ;) i done a swap with a mate for his fold away 1 which where using till i sort of turn it into a pool / dinner table
