2nd Annual National Gaming Day -- Nov 14, 2009
« on: October 24, 2009, 16:47:51 »
I'm not sure what time this is happening on the day.  Here is the website.
http://ngd.ala.org/

It looks like 2 of the games being played are "Wits & Wagers" and "Say Anything".

the 2 locations in the bay area:

South Holiday Library
4649 Mile Stretch Dr
Holiday, FL 34690

Centennial Park Library
5740 Moog Road
Holiday, FL 34690

My friend Jason is waiting to hear if he has an art show that weekend.  If he does, I'll probably be going up to Atlanta to help out.  If he doesn't, then I'll be planning to go to the game day.

If you guys know anything about either of these libraries, think you might want to go, or have a preference of which library you might want to go to, I'd like to open up the discussion.

I like the concept...but I think the gaming will be very light party games...not that that's bad...but I don't think I'll go.

If you go, please let us know what kind of games were played!

I've been to both of these libraries.
If you take Grand Blvd south, it turns towards US 19 and becomes Mile Stretch Road. The library is about five blocks east of US 19 on the north side.
Centennial Park library is also east of US 19, not sure how far, it's been a while.
November 14 is a Saturday, I have the previous week off from work, I may join you at one of them, Chris. No preference, although the Moog road one should be closer to SR 54.

Okay, thanks to Jason's vague "2 weeks from now, and two weeks after that" to describe his art show schedule, I misunderstood which weekend his show was.  It's the 7th.  So I'm available.

So... it wasn't 4 weeks?   ???

He sent the email on a Wednesday, so it was 3 weeks away, but 4 weekends away.  Unless you consider this coming weekend as "one week away."  In which case, you'd be wrong.   ;)
